Smile, it's Wine: Exploring Coast Wine House in Dublin

If you know me, you know that it’s always wine time in my world. That’s why I’m so excited about the newest wine bar poppin’ bottles in the Columbus dining scene. Let me share why Coast Wine House has quickly become my favorite post-work hang out.

Here’s what to expect:

A COZY VIBE.

Your senses will be captivated from the instant you walk through the door of the 100-year-old home where Coast Wine House resides. Owner, Dustin Snow’s vision for Coast was for guests to feel like they’re walking into a friend’s house to enjoy a glass of wine and conversation. Every detail down to the wine glasses was hand-selected to give off a coastal, homey vibe. Let me tell you, they nailed it.

Rotating, Local Provisions.

One of the coolest things about Coast is the appetizer menu is constantly refreshed based on the season. Some past favorites of mine have been the burrata, the prosciutto flatbread and of course their ever-present charcuterie boards. Coast also does its part in supporting small businesses by sourcing their ingredients from local vendors as much as possible.

Retail Wine SPACE.

Likely my favorite thing about Coast is the retail space. Unlike many other wine bars in Columbus, Coast has a unique & diverse selection of tasty wines from all over the world. One thing I love about their selection is that most of the labels are totally Instagram-worthy and while that’s not necessarily important to the sommelier, the basic b*tch in all of us loves it. We brought home a couple of bottles during the holidays to give as hostess gifts and let me tell you, they impressed. The staff (some of them are studying to become sommeleirs themselves) will help you select the perfect bottle for your next get-together.
